    The Allegacy Center for Leadership & Character at the Wake Forest University School of Business was formed to focus the School’s longstanding practice of developing leaders of character who achieve results with integrity. Through the ACLC Scholars Program, the Center is fortunate to support students to accelerate the development of leaders who have a passion for elevating people, organizations, and communities.

    Scholarship recipients are expected to benefit from the program through: 

    • Enhanced development of leadership mindsets and skills
    • Greater self-awareness
    • Fuller understanding of the leader development process
    • A greater appreciation for coaching and mentorship
    • Opportunity to establish a leader network
    • Significantly contribute to enhance the community through a student project
    • Potential for exposure to future job opportunities
    Eligibility and Deadlines

    Specifically, the criteria to be considered for the ACLC Scholars Progam are:

    • Strong desire to develop as a business leader of character
    • Leadership experience (e.g., captain of teams, club leadership, work leadership, etc.)
    • Evidence of a history of demonstrating character
    • Membership in leadership organizations (e.g., Scouts, etc.)
    • Community engagement
    • Global perspective through study, travel, or living in other countries

    Interested candidates must submit a completed admission application to the Wake Forest graduate business program of their choice (MSM, MSA, MSBA, MBA) and the required Allegacy Center for Leadership and Character Scholars program application and related essay no later than April 11, 2025. The ACLC application form will be available starting October 31, 2024.  Selection and notification of recipients will take place throughout that period and no later than May 1.

    Interest Statement
    By clicking submit below you attest that information provided is accurate and valid. All scholars agree to the commitments of the program which include: attending and fully participating in a required offsite meeting, monthly enrichment sessions, individual coaching sessions, and a final team project. Scholars understand that they will receive half of their scholarship at the start of the academic year, and must fully participate in the program during the fall semester to receive the second half of their scholarship in January.
